DiMarzio Area 67 Strat Pickup
The DiMarzio Area 67 captures the classic bright and clean single-coil tone celebrated in late-1960s rock, while completely eliminating 60-cycle hum through patented Area technology. Designed to deliver authentic vintage chime and bell-like clarity, it produces exceptionally crisp and snappy 2 and 4 pickup switch positions.
Featuring focused Alnico 2 magnets, this design reduces string pull by 40% compared to traditional single-coil assemblies. The reduced magnetic drag significantly enhances natural sustain and preserves string intonation without compromising output or dynamic response.
Optimized for all positions on a Stratocaster, the pickup excels particularly in the neck and middle slots, while providing a clear, non-brittle top end when installed in the bridge position. It features standard 4-conductor wiring for versatile switching options.
