DiMarzio Dark Matter 2 Middle Pickup
The DiMarzio Dark Matter 2 Middle pickup is engineered in collaboration with Steve Vai to complement the earthy, organic tone of his signature instruments. Designed specifically to pair seamlessly with Dark Matter 2 Neck and Bridge humbuckers, this single-coil model adds a distinctive, articulate voice to your guitar's tonal palette.
Featuring high-output performance tailored with a slight softness in the high register, the pickup eliminates harsh anomalies while retaining modern clarity and punch. Its balanced frequency response delivers a smooth sound that transitions effortlessly between standalone single-coil chime and combined humbucker positions.
Built with ceramic magnets and two-conductor wiring, this F-spaced middle pickup provides reliable performance and balanced output across all strings. It is ideal for players seeking a modern, high-output middle pickup that balances power with nuanced dynamic response.
