DiMarzio Soapbar Dog-Ear Pickup
The DiMarzio Soapbar™ Dog-Ear Style pickup captures the warm, musical voicing of classic single-coil designs while offering enhanced clarity and balance across the frequency spectrum. It delivers fat high notes with sufficient bite to cut through any mix, paired with bright, defined low frequencies that maintain consistent body along the entire fretboard.
Engineered to improve upon traditional vintage designs, this pickup tightens low-end response and adds punch to the midrange frequencies. Its specialized combination of ceramic magnets and iron loading replicates vintage tonal dynamics without the magnetic degradation typical of aged Alnico materials over time.
Featuring standard two-conductor wiring and a resistance rating of 8.6 Kohm, this pickup is engineered for all positions on solid-body guitars. It comes equipped with an integrated black dog-ear style cover for standard vintage and modern mounting applications.
