DiMarzio The Black Angel Acoustic Soundhole Pickup

The Black Angel is a passive magnetic soundhole pickup engineered to capture the full frequency range of an acoustic guitar with zero hum and no battery required. Its humbucking magnetic circuit features dual coils aligned parallel to the strings and is acoustically isolated to minimize unwanted finger, pick, and body noise.
Built for expressive dynamics, it responds instantly to right- and left-hand technique while maintaining a natural acoustic resonance rather than an electric timbre. A built-in phase switch makes it exceptionally versatile for dual or multi-source amplification systems alongside piezo pickups or microphones.
Installation requires no guitar modifications and fits standard soundholes measuring 3.5 inches and larger with string spacing compatible with nut widths from 1-11/16 to 1-3/4 inches. The pickup includes both an internal Switchcraft endpin jack and a 10-foot quick-mount cable for plug-and-play flexibility.
