The Floyd Rose FR Rail Tail Tremolo is a full-contact, dive-only tremolo bridge engineered to retrofit standard 6-point Stratocaster-style bridges without body modifications. Merging the stability and sustain of a hardtail bridge with the flexibility of a vibrato system, the baseplate rotates around a body-mounted precision rail for complete vibrational transfer and superior tuning stability.
Equipped with slotted mounting holes, the baseplate allows the string block to be positioned forward to achieve up to 15 degrees of additional dive range compared to traditional designs. The advanced string block features mid-positioned tapered string holes paired with roller saddles to ensure continuous string contact, reduced friction, and enhanced tonal resonance.
This modern narrow-spaced model features a 2-1/16-inch string spacing with universal body-mounting holes designed to accommodate both narrow and wide screw layouts. Precision-machined for smooth operation, it offers pitch retention on open strings during bends for optimal performance.
