The Floyd Rose Left-Handed Rail Tail Tremolo is a full-contact, dive-only tremolo engineered to retrofit standard 6-point Stratocaster-style bridges without body modifications. Designed with computer precision, it combines the tuning stability and acoustic sustain of a hardtail bridge with the dynamic expression of a traditional vibrato system.
The baseplate rotates around a solid precision rail mounted directly to the guitar body rather than rocking on standard screw bevels. This complete physical contact creates a solid energy transfer to improve resonance while establishing a rigid breakpoint that prevents open strings from dropping pitch during heavy bends.
Featuring slotted string block mounting points and roller-fitted saddles, this system offers up to 15 degrees of additional downward rotational range over conventional designs. The modern narrow 2-1/16" string spacing ensures proper string alignment while mid-positioned tapered block holes maximize saddle seating for enhanced tonal performance.
