All components are CNC-machined to exacting tolerances and surface-finished, featuring a self-locking drive and premium brass string posts that provide unmatched tuning stability and wear resistance.
Equipped with Schaller's innovative stepped flanged washer with a 0.39-inch diameter base, this machine centers the string post accurately through the banjo bolt without requiring a stepped peghead bore. This design eliminates tilting torque and relieves mechanical stress on both the string post and rear mounting screw.
Featuring identical installation dimensions to its predecessor, the M6 135 allows direct drop-in replacement with zero modifications required. Sealed and permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, each unit remains completely maintenance-free throughout its service life.
