Equipped with high-grade brass posts fitted precisely into the housing, this closed machine head guarantees maximum tuning stability and wear resistance. Permanent internal lubrication with Schaller special grease ensures completely maintenance-free operation over its lifespan.
Featuring the innovative stepped M6 flanged washer with a 0.39 in (10 mm) base diameter, it reliably centers the string post via the banjo bolt without requiring stepped peghead counterbores. This design eliminates tilting torque and reduces physical stress on both the post and rear mounting screws.
