Continuing the legacy of the original sealed M6 design first established in 1966, this modern version features CNC-machined components, high-grade brass posts, and a self-locking drive for smooth, consistent, and wear-free operation.
Equipped with an innovative stepped M6 flanged washer (0.39 in diameter), the tuner centers the string post securely via the threaded bushing without requiring stepped headstock boreholes. This design eliminates tilting torque and reduces mechanical stress on both the post and the rear mounting screw.
Permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free performance, the M6 Pin utilizes a dual-pin configuration with a 0.39 in center-to-center pin spacing and an 0.31 in post-to-pin center distance.
