DiMarzio EJ Custom Bridge Pickup
Designed in collaboration with Eric Johnson to bring vintage Gretsch-style clarity to full-size humbucker guitars, the DiMarzio EJ Custom Bridge pickup delivers an exceptionally bright and articulate voice. It serves as a direct replacement for standard humbuckers, offering clean definition reminiscent of single-coil pickups while retaining hum-canceling performance.
Featuring an Alnico 5 magnet and a tuned vintage-output design, this pickup provides enhanced treble response and tight low-end presence. It excels at chord work, fingerpicking, and intricate soloing without thinning out your core tone.
Even under heavy distortion and high-gain overdrive, the EJ Custom maintains pristine note separation and avoids mud. Built with 4-conductor wiring for versatile coil-splitting options, it is ideal for solid, semi-hollow, and hollowbody electric guitars.
