The DiMarzio Relentless J Bass Neck pickup reimagines passive bass performance with exceptional dynamic range and noise-free operation. Designed with arched covers and patent-pending parallelogram-shaped coils, this neck-position pickup positions its sensing elements closer to the strings, significantly boosting output and frequency response without requiring active onboard preamps.
Equipped with powerful Neodymium magnets, the Relentless J produces 70 percent more output than standard passive single coils while maintaining dead-quiet hum-canceling performance. Its broad magnetic field provides rich mid-range punch, snappy highs, and precise lows with smooth response even during heavy string bending.
Each pickup features fully shielded metal covers and foil-shielded 4-conductor wiring to eliminate interference on stage and in the studio. Mounted on a robust 0.09375-inch thick circuit board baseplate that removes protruding mounting screws, it provides a smooth, comfortable resting surface for your fingers.
