Solid brass string posts are precision-fitted into the sealed housing to resist wear and prevent pitch drift. The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post securely without requiring a stepped peghead bore, eliminating tilting torque and reducing mechanical stress on mounting screws.
