Every enclosed tuning machine is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for entirely maintenance-free operation. Precision-machined internal components and premium brass string posts are fitted with extreme accuracy to ensure superior wear resistance and long-lasting performance.
The stepped M6 flanged bushing centers the string post securely via the hollow bolt, eliminating the need for a stepped peghead bore while distributing mechanical pressure away from the post and rear mounting screws.
