Crafted from premium brass, the string posts fit into the housing to maximize tuning stability and eliminate mechanical wear. The stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post via the banjo bolt, removing the need for a stepped peghead hole while eliminating tilt torque and taking pressure off both the post and rear mounting screw.
Permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, all enclosed housings remain maintenance-free for enduring reliability. Built with a 0.39 in center-to-center pin spacing and a 0.31 in distance from pins to post center, these tuning machines provide a seamless upgrade for modern headstocks.
