The Schaller M6 Pin series sets the standard for closed guitar tuning machines with an advanced 1:18 gear ratio that delivers precise, velvety-smooth tuning stability. All components are CNC-machined to exacting tolerances, surface-finished, and permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free operation.
Featuring high-grade brass string posts precisely fitted into the housing, this machine head minimizes wear while maximizing tuning retention. The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer reliably centers the string post through the banjo bolt, preventing tipping torque, eliminating stress on both the shaft and mounting screws, and removing the need for a stepped peghead bore.
Equipped with a dual-pin configuration set at a 10 mm center-to-center pin spacing and an 8 mm post-to-pin distance, the M6 Pin ensures stable, twist-proof mounting on compatible headstocks.
