DiMarzio PG-13 Bridge Mini Humbucker Pickup
The DiMarzio PG-13 Bridge mini humbucker was developed for Paul Gilbert, offering a signature balance of clarity, chime, and fullness. Designed to bridge the sonic gap between a full-sized humbucker and a single-coil, it senses a narrower length of string vibration to reduce lower harmonics and deliver a brighter, highly articulate voice without becoming harsh.
Wound with extra bite compared to the neck version, the DP243 bridge model excels across diverse musical genres including blues, classic rock, and modern metal. High-gain rhythm playing maintains crunch and punch, while power chords remain defined and full of harmonically rich resonance through driven amplifiers.
Featuring ceramic magnets and a 4-conductor wiring scheme, this bridge pickup delivers warm overall character with ample throttle and output. When combined with the PG-13 neck model, it provides an expansive, distinct quack that easily cuts through dense live and studio mixes.
