ESP LTD JRV-8 Electric Guitar
The ESP LTD JRV-8 is an innovative 8-string signature model developed in collaboration with acclaimed Animals as Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes. Built with an alder body and a bolt-on five-piece maple and walnut neck featuring a thin flat contour, this instrument delivers robust structural integrity across its extended 27-inch baritone scale length. The maple fingerboard is appointed with 22 extra-jumbo frets and distinctive double-bar abalone inlays.
Engineered for unprecedented sonic versatility, the JRV-8 utilizes an active H/S/S Fishman Fluence Javier Reyes signature pickup configuration. The bridge Open Core humbucker provides three distinct voices accessible via a mini-toggle switch, spanning thick low-end growl, organic high-gain lead clarity, and open single-coil chime, while matching single-width neck and middle pickups deliver articulate cleans and punchy midrange response.
High-performance hardware includes an 8-string double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo bridge paired with a locking nut to ensure tuning stability through aggressive pitch modulation. LTD locking tuners and striking gold hardware complete the build, and the instrument comes securely housed in an ESP deluxe hardshell form-fit case.
