The Floyd Rose 1984 Original Tremolo System is a faithful reissue based directly on 1984 design specifications, capturing vintage performance and era-defining aesthetic. Constructed with a hardened steel base plate and CNC-machined steel saddles, this double-locking bridge delivers uncompromising tuning stability and precision control.
Key vintage features include exposed brass fine tuners, an authentic old-style housing with a screw-in stainless steel tremolo arm, traditional wood mounting screws, and a 1.5 in (37 mm) fat solid brass sustain block that enhances resonance, sustain, and tonal warmth. The stock saddles feature a standard 12 in radius.
Each comprehensive kit includes the tremolo bridge, heavy-duty springs, spring claw, wood mounting screws, and complete installation hardware. Locking nuts and alternate radius saddle sets are available separately to fit specific guitar neck configurations.
