Every component is CNC-machined to exacting tolerances, featuring brass string posts carefully fitted into the housing to maximize tuning stability and virtually eliminate mechanical wear.
Installation is streamlined through Schaller's innovative stepped flanged washer, featuring an outer diameter of 0.39 in (10 mm) that centers the string post securely through the threaded bushing. This design eliminates the need for stepped headstock holes while counteracting tilt moment and absorbing mechanical pressure across both the string post and rear mounting screw.
Engineered for enduring performance, the enclosed housing is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for maintenance-free operation. The M6 135 retains the identical mounting dimensions of its predecessor, allowing seamless replacement and upgrades without headstock modifications.
