Schaller M6 180 Guitar Tuning Machine
The Schaller M6 180 guitar tuning machine represents an advanced evolution of the legendary sealed tuner standard established in 1966. Featuring a refined 1:18 gear ratio, it delivers velvety-smooth feel, pinpoint tuning precision, and maximum pitch stability. High-precision CNC machining across all internal and external components ensures consistent, sensitive adjustments backed by self-locking drive mechanics.
Engineered for enduring reliability, the string posts are crafted from high-grade brass and matched flawlessly into the housing for wear-free operation. Internal sealed mechanisms are permanently lubricated with Schaller proprietary grease to remain entirely maintenance-free across their lifespan. The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post securely through the banjo bolt, preventing tipping torque and eliminating the need for stepped peghead reaming.
Featuring slightly more compact outer housing dimensions than vintage predecessors, the M6 180 installs seamlessly as a drop-in replacement without requiring modification to standard headstocks. Designed to accommodate various configuration styles including advanced TopLocking systems, it ensures exceptional string retention and effortless tuning performance for professional instruments.
