The DiMarzio Air Norton 7 delivers the exceptional versatility and tonal depth of the original Air Norton to 7-string electric guitars. Engineered for flexible performance in either the neck or bridge position, it produces a warm, well-defined voice across clean and high-gain amplifier settings.
When placed in the neck position, the pickup delivers an open sound with sufficient output to balance seamlessly alongside high-output bridge pickups. Installed in the bridge position, it delivers solid low-end response, medium output, and harmonically rich overtones that capture both modern clarity and vintage character.
Featuring proprietary Virtual Vintage coil technology, the Air Norton 7 ensures outstanding performance in coil-split and parallel wiring configurations without severe volume loss. It comes equipped with 4-conductor wiring and a ceramic magnet structure suited for solid body and semi-hollow body guitars.
