Designed in close collaboration with Billy Corgan for his signature Stratocaster, the DiMarzio BC-2 provides exceptional clarity, punch, and low-end definition. Tailored specifically to handle high-gain amplifiers without turning muddy, this rail humbucker maintains tight response across all playing styles.
By fine-tuning the frequency response of one of the coils, the pickup boosts bass response while opening up the midrange frequencies. This unique coil calibration delivers a robust, air-moving dynamic feel and punchy attack that performs reliably in full humbucking operation as well as single-coil split mode.
Featuring ceramic magnets and 4-conductor wiring, the BC-2 is optimized for bridge position placement but performs reliably across all positions. Its high-output design and quick-connect compatibility make it an ideal drop-in upgrade for Strat-style guitars needing hum-canceling performance.
