DiMarzio Fortitude Bridge Humbucker Pickup
Designed in collaboration with Gojira guitarist Joe Duplantier, the DiMarzio Fortitude Bridge pickup delivers dynamic, vintage-voiced humbucker tone modified for modern precision and heavy riffing. Based on the classic PAF 36th Anniversary Bridge design, it provides exceptional string clarity that cuts effortlessly through low tunings and high-gain amplifier stages.
Tailored to Duplantier's exacting studio specifications, this passive bridge humbucker features a tailored EQ curve with a distinct boost around 160Hz and a slight midrange dip. This voicing imparts extra low-end punch while preserving immediate pick attack and percussive articulation under heavy playing dynamics.
The pickup is built with an Alnico 5 magnet and 4-conductor wiring, making it versatile across solid body, hollow, and semi-hollow electric guitars. Its medium-output design ensures organic feel and touch responsiveness without compressing your instrument's natural resonance.
