ESP LTD GH-SV Black Electric Guitar
Designed in collaboration with thrash metal icon Gary Holt of Exodus and Slayer, the ESP LTD GH-SV delivers uncompromising power, speed, and aggression. Built on the iconic ESP SV offset V-shape body, it features a flat top and back profile tailored for high-performance shredding. The striking black finish is accented by multi-ply red binding across the body, neck, and headstock, alongside custom red pickup covers.
Constructed with a 24.75" scale length, this instrument utilizes a neck-thru-body design comprising a three-piece thin U-shaped mahogany neck and a mahogany body topped with a maple cap. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard features pearloid split block inlays, 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and a locking nut for effortless playability and durability under heavy playing conditions.
The GH-SV comes equipped with direct-mount active EMG pickups, including an EMG 81 in the bridge for razor-sharp lead tones and a coil-splittable EMG 89R in the neck. Professional hardware includes a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo system and precision Grover tuners. A dedicated ESP deluxe form-fit hardshell case is included.
