The Schaller M6 135 features an improved 1:18 gear ratio that provides unmatched precision and smooth, velvet-like tuning performance. All components are CNC-machined to high tolerances and surface-finished, utilizing a self-locking drive to ensure uniform, sensitive, and stable string tuning.
Crafted with premium brass posts precisely fitted into the housing, this tuning machine delivers high tuning stability and wear-free operation. The enclosed housing is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, making it entirely maintenance-free over its lifespan.
An innovative stepped M6 flanged washer with a 0.39 in (10 mm) diameter centers the string post through the banjo bolt without requiring a stepped headstock hole. This design eliminates tilting moment, relieves pressure on both the post and rear mounting screw, and shares identical installation dimensions with predecessor models for direct replacement.
