The Schaller M6 180 sets the benchmark for closed guitar tuning machines with an upgraded 1:18 gear ratio for smooth, velvety precision and superior tuning stability. Every component is CNC-machined to exact tolerances and surface-finished, featuring high-grade brass string posts engineered for maximum durability and wear resistance.
Featuring the innovative stepped M6 collar washer with a 0.39-inch (10 mm) base, installation is effortless and eliminates the need for stepped headstock holes. This design reliably centers the string post via the banjo bolt, effectively preventing tilt and relieving stress from both the post and rear mounting screw.
All enclosed housings are permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, ensuring maintenance-free performance. Designed as a direct drop-in replacement for original legacy M6 tuners, it installs without required headstock modifications.
