Schaller M6 180 Guitar Tuning Machine
The Schaller M6 180 guitar tuning machine represents an evolution of the iconic closed-gear tuner first introduced in 1966. Engineered with a precise 1:18 gear ratio, it delivers ultra-smooth tuning action, exceptional tuning stability, and velvety operation for discerning guitarists.
Every component is precision CNC-machined and surface-finished, featuring high-grade brass string posts engineered seamlessly into the housing for maximum wear resistance. A self-locking drive mechanism paired with permanent Schaller special grease ensures consistent operation without any maintenance required.
Featuring the innovative stepped M6 flanged washer with a 0.39 in (10 mm) base, this tuning machine centers the string post securely through the banjo bolt and eliminates tilting torque. This design protects the post and rear mounting screw from unnecessary stress while eliminating the need for stepped headstock boreholes.
