The Schaller M6 90 guitar tuning machine represents precision engineering with an advanced 1:18 gear ratio, delivering ultra-smooth and accurate tuning response. Designed as a modern evolution of the classic closed tuner, it retains the proven mounting dimensions of its predecessor for direct, modification-free installation.
Every component is CNC-machined to exacting tolerances and permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease to ensure completely maintenance-free operation. The high-grade brass string posts are fitted securely into the housing, while the self-locking drive maintains rock-solid tuning stability over extended playing sessions.
An innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post through the banjo bolt, eliminating the need for a stepped peghead bore. This design effectively absorbs lateral pressure and eliminates tilting torque, protecting both the string post and the rear mounting screws.
