Featuring an advanced 1:18 gear ratio, it provides smooth, precise, and sensitive tuning with outstanding stability.
Engineered for longevity and zero maintenance, each sealed housing is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease. The internal string posts are precision-machined from high-grade brass and fitted seamlessly within the housing, while self-locking drive mechanisms prevent slippage and eliminate wear.
Installation is streamlined thanks to the innovative stepped collar design with a 0.39 in (10 mm) base diameter, which reliably centers the string post via the threaded bushing. This removes the need for stepped peghead holes, eliminates tilting torque, and relieves mechanical strain from both the post and rear mounting screws.
