High-grade brass string posts are fitted into the housing with tight tolerances to prevent wear, while the self-locking drive mechanism provides seamless and consistent gear engagement.
Installation is streamlined via the stepped M6 collar washer, which reliably centers the string post within a 0.39 in (10 mm) bore hole without requiring stepped headstock drilling. This innovative design eliminates tilting torque and relieves mechanical stress from both the post and the rear mounting screw.
