Built with high-precision internal components, all enclosed tuners are permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free operation. The string posts are machined from solid brass and fitted precisely into the housing to guarantee maximum tuning stability and wear resistance.
Featuring the innovative stepped flanged bushing with a 10 mm (0.39 in) diameter, the tuner centers the string post securely through the banjo bolt without requiring a stepped headstock hole. This design eliminates tilting torque and reduces mechanical stress on both the post and rear mounting screw.
