DiMarzio Relentless P Pickup
The DiMarzio Relentless P pickup elevates the classic Precision Bass sound by delivering increased output, robust low end, a growling midrange, and articulate highs with superior individual string definition. Built upon the expanded magnetic field introduced in the iconic Model P, it enhances overall frequency response to produce a full and punchy bass tone.
Co-designed with Billy Sheehan, the ergonomic cover features curved tops that mirror fingerboard radius and removes sharp right-angled edges for improved playing comfort. The pickup integrates a robust 1/8-inch circuit board mounting system that eliminates protruding screws while eight adjustable pole pieces allow precise string-to-string balance calibration.
This fully potted, passive hum-canceling split-coil design yields 50 percent more output than standard passive pickups while remaining virtually silent against electromagnetic interference. Handmade in the USA, it utilizes foil-shielded hookup wiring and durable metal covers to significantly minimize stage noise in demanding performance environments.
