DiMarzio Sixties J Bass Pickup Pair
The DiMarzio Sixties J bass pickup pair captures the iconic woody tone, midrange punch, and dynamic attack of classic 1960s instruments while completely eliminating 60-cycle hum and extraneous stage noise. Featuring an innovative patent-pending parallelogram double-coil configuration, these fully potted pickups deliver pristine vintage-voiced clarity without the vintage single-coil hum.
Built with curved metal covers inspired by the Relentless series, each pickup features radius-matched Alnico 5 magnets arched to parallel the fingerboard. This design eliminates sharp edges for greater playing comfort while maintaining an optimal, consistent string distance across the entire fretboard for superior dynamic response and balance.
Calibrated specifically for a seamless blend, the bridge pickup is voiced with increased output to ensure an articulate, well-balanced mix when both positions are active. Handcrafted and tested in the USA, this matched pickup set provides an effortless upgrade for standard USA Jazz Bass routing.
