DiMarzio UtoPIA Bridge Pickup
Designed for Steve Vai’s signature Ibanez PIA guitar, the DiMarzio UtoPIA Bridge pickup features a distinctive laser-cut baroque style cover layered over a patterned background. Using the Evolution Bridge as a tonal foundation, this pickup is voiced to enhance low-end response while providing extra body and thickness to high frequencies.
Engineered for articulation and harmonic richness, the upper midrange frequencies are dialed back to deliver a smoother, highly controllable attack. The result is a robust, high-output bridge pickup with a bold bottom end and rich harmonics that remain defined under heavy gain.
Ideal for solid-body guitars with a natural upper-midrange peak, this humbucker helps smooth out harsh frequencies across your signal chain. Built with 4-conductor wiring, it offers flexible wiring options and excels at coil-splitting configurations.
