Schaller M6 90 Guitar Tuning Machine
The Schaller M6 90 guitar tuning machine features a refined 1:18 gear ratio that ensures precise, velvety-smooth tuning comfort and exceptional pitch stability. Built as an evolution of the legendary original sealed tuner introduced in 1966, this model incorporates modern engineering enhancements while retaining standard installation dimensions for direct replacement.
Every component is CNC-machined to exacting tolerances, surface-finished, and equipped with a self-locking drive mechanism for uniform, sensitive adjustment. The string posts are crafted from high-grade brass and precisely fitted into the housing, while closed housings are permanently lubricated with specialized Schaller grease for maintenance-free operation.
An innovative stepped M6 flanged washer with a 0.39 in. diameter reliably centers the string post via the banjo bolt, eliminating the need for stepped headstock drilling. This design absorbs mechanical pressure from both the post and the rear mounting screw, preventing tilt and extending the overall lifespan of the tuner.
