High-quality brass string posts fit snugly into the housing, while the self-locking drive mechanism provides consistent, sensitive response. The integrated stepped flanged washer centers the string post securely through the banjo bolt, preventing tilt and eliminating the need for a stepped hole in the headstock.
All enclosed housings are permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free longevity.
