The Bus Driver compressor draws inspiration from vintage SSL® mixing desks, delivering versatile compression ranging from transparent dynamics control to heavy, squashed studio-grade effects. Featuring an intuitive interface, it includes precise controls for compression, makeup gain, attack, and release. Users can select from three compression ratios—2:1, 4:1, and 10:1—to shape their sound effectively. The pedal includes an Auto Release mode for signal-dependent recovery and a side chain high-pass filter (SC HPF) to preserve low-end frequencies, making it ideal for bass instruments. A clear LED bar provides real-time visual feedback on gain reduction. Built with a relay-based true bypass circuit, the pedal automatically recalls its last state upon power-up. This compact unit is designed for professional sound shaping in a pedalboard-ready format.
