DiMarzio Ionizer 7 Neck Guitar Pickup
Designed in collaboration with virtuoso Tosin Abasi, the DiMarzio Ionizer 7 Neck Model delivers articulate, dynamic response tailored specifically for the extended frequency range of 7-string guitars. Built to provide warm lows and clear, defined highs, this humbucker maintains exceptional clarity across complex chord voicings and fast lead runs.
Unlike simple adaptations of 8-string models, the Ionizer 7 is uniquely voiced with deeper low-end response and brighter top-end presence. Splitting the pickup engages an authentic, open single-coil character that remains bright and cutting without sounding thin or harsh.
Featuring 4-conductor wiring for versatile coil-splitting configurations and a ceramic magnet structure, this neck humbucker delivers balanced output and immediate pick attack for modern progressive playing styles.
