DiMarzio Sixties J Bridge Bass Pickup
The DiMarzio Sixties J™ Bridge pickup captures the vintage, woody tone, articulate midrange, and punch of classic 1960s Jazz Bass® instruments while eliminating 60-cycle hum. Built with DiMarzio's innovative patent-pending parallelogram double-coil design, it delivers outstanding dynamic attack and responsiveness.
Featuring curved metal covers inspired by the Relentless™ design, the pickup eliminates sharp edges for improved player comfort. Alnico 5 magnets are radiused to mirror the fingerboard arch, positioning the magnetic field closer to the strings for enhanced tracking, balanced output, and accurate signal response.
Fully potted to prevent microphonics and equipped with foil-shielded 4-conductor wiring, this pickup is engineered to dramatically reduce stage interference. Calibrated with higher output to pair cleanly with neck pickups, each unit is handcrafted in the USA for reliable performance.
