ESP LTD FL-4 Electric Bass
Designed in collaboration with renowned bassist Fred Leclercq of Kreator and DragonForce fame, the ESP LTD FL-4 combines an aggressive aesthetic with exceptional build quality. The instrument features a distinctive Forest-inspired body shape modified with a bold tail cutout and finished in an eye-catching Satin Black Red Burst. Its neck-thru-body construction pairs a solid alder body with a five-piece maple and purpleheart neck for maximum sustain and structural rigidity.
Built for technical precision and performance speed, the bass features an extra-thin U-shaped neck profile and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. The fingerboard is detailed with black binding and red offset dot inlays across a standard 34-inch scale length. A 15.7-inch fingerboard radius and a 1.6-inch molded nut provide comfortable playability across the entire fretboard.
Electronics and hardware are optimized for aggressive, articulate tone and touring reliability, anchored by a single active EMG 35P pickup with a dedicated volume control. The instrument is equipped with a Hipshot A Style bridge, Grover mini tuners, and black hardware. A deluxe ESP form-fit hardshell case is included to protect the instrument during storage and travel.
