DiMarzio HS-4 Strat Pickup
The DiMarzio HS-4 is the vintage magnet-stagger version of the renowned HS-3, engineered specifically for Stratocaster guitars. Recreating the authentic string balance of 1950s single-coils, it produces a distinct, articulate response in the neck and middle positions for both chord work and lead playing while completely eliminating 60-cycle hum.
Featuring stacked hum-canceling architecture and an Alnico 5 magnet, the HS-4 delivers balanced tonal output across all strings. The vintage pole stagger enhances clarity and definition on unwound strings, particularly in the higher registers of the neck, offering a slightly warmer take on traditional Strat tone.
This pickup pairs exceptionally well with high-gain amplifiers or classic overdrive pedal configurations, maintaining clarity under heavy saturation and cleaning up smoothly when volume is dialed back.
