DiMarzio Red Velvet Strat Pickup
The DiMarzio Red Velvet Strat Pickup blends the biting attack of a vintage Stratocaster bridge pickup with the punch and sustain of a classic Telecaster tone. Featuring custom coil-winding and a True Velvet magnet stagger, it produces a distinctive midrange growl alongside brilliant high-end definition.
Equipped with a bottom-mounted Power Plate, this single-coil design expands the magnetic field without creating excessive string pull. Each unit is individually calibrated after assembly to ensure optimal balance, dynamic response, and articulate note separation across all playing styles.
While originally engineered for the bridge position, the pickup performs exceptionally well in the middle and neck slots. It pairs effortlessly with other single-coils or bridge humbuckers, delivering versatile vintage voicing with modern reliability.
