High-grade brass string posts are fitted to tight tolerances inside the housing, and factory lubrication with Schaller special grease ensures completely maintenance-free operation.
The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post reliably via the banjo bolt, eliminating the need for a stepped headstock bore. This design effectively absorbs lateral pressure and eliminates tilting torque on both the post and the rear mounting screw.
