Schaller M6 90 Guitar Tuning Machine
The Schaller M6 90 guitar tuning machine represents precision engineering with its refined 1:18 gear ratio, delivering ultra-smooth and exact tuning comfort. Designed as an evolution of the iconic 1966 original closed tuning machine, it incorporates modern innovations while maintaining historic reliability and classic aesthetics.
All components are CNC-machined to exacting tolerances, featuring high-grade brass posts fitted precisely into the housing to guarantee unmatched tuning stability, wear resistance, and a self-locking drive mechanism. The enclosed housings are permanently lubricated with proprietary Schaller grease, rendering them completely maintenance-free over years of performance.
Installation is streamlined via the innovative stepped M6 flanged washer, which centers the string post securely over the threaded bushing without requiring step-drilled headstock holes. This design relieves mechanical stress from both the post and the rear mounting screw, eliminating tilting torque and preserving structural integrity.
