The closed housing is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, providing completely maintenance-free operation and consistent torque.
Equipped with an innovative stepped M6 flanged washer, this tuning machine reliably self-centers the string post via the banjo bolt. This mechanism eliminates tilting torque and reduces mechanical strain on both the string post and rear mounting screw without requiring stepped headstock boreholes.
