Engineered with a precise 1:18 gear ratio, it provides smooth, velvety tuning and exceptional tuning stability. This smaller footprint is ideally suited for Stratocaster-style models, compact headstocks, and 12-string guitars.
Every closed-housing tuning machine is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, ensuring reliable and completely maintenance-free operation over its lifespan. The string posts are precision-machined from high-grade brass and fitted snugly into the housing to eliminate play, wear, and mechanical drift.
Installation is streamlined thanks to the innovative M6 stepped collar design, which centers the post via the threaded bushing without requiring stepped headstock boreholes. This engineered fit eliminates tilting torque and protects both the post and rear mounting screw from unnecessary strain.
