DiMarzio Illuminator 7 Bridge Pickup

Designed for John Petrucci’s Music Man JP13 guitar, the DiMarzio Illuminator 7 Bridge Model represents the next generation in signature 7-string pickups. Engineered for maximum sonic versatility, it delivers the breadth needed to transition effortlessly from massive, aggressive rhythm crunch to expressive, dynamic lead tones.
To distinctly separate neck and bridge voicings, this pickup opens up the midrange, enhances high-end presence, and tightens the low-frequency response. The open mids provide immense harmonic overdrive without introducing harshness, while the controlled bass ensures complex low-end riffs remain punchy and defined.
Featuring ceramic magnets and standard 4-conductor wiring, the Illuminator 7 Bridge offers modern output, clarity, and articulation designed to handle extended-range instruments in high-gain performance environments.
