ESP LTD VOLSUNG Oxblood Satin Electric Guitar
The LTD Volsung is the signature model crafted for Lars Frederiksen of the iconic punk rock band Rancid. Built upon the classic ESP Viper contour, it features a streamlined mahogany body engineered to deliver optimal resonance and reduced weight during demanding live performances and extended studio sessions.
A traditional set-neck construction joins a 3-piece thin U mahogany neck to the body at a 24.75-inch scale length. The Macassar ebony fingerboard features 22 extra-jumbo frets, Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side markers, and full white binding that carries around the headstock for exceptional playability and neck pickup placement.
Equipped with a signature EMG LF-DMF passive pickup set, this guitar pairs a ceramic bridge pickup for distinct articulation with an Alnico V neck pickup for punchy midrange output. Reliable hardware includes a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, Gotoh tuners, and a dedicated three-knob control setup, complete with an included deluxe ESP form-fit hardshell case.
