The Larrivée SD-40 Legacy Series dreadnought offers exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled acoustic performance. Constructed with solid East Indian Mahogany back and sides, paired with a solid Sitka Spruce top, it delivers a rich, resonant, and balanced tonal profile. Its distinctive 12th fret neck joint and scalloped hybrid bracing pattern enhance vibrational transfer, contributing to superior projection and sustain. The smooth Mahogany neck, topped with an Ebony fingerboard, provides effortless playability across its 25.5-inch scale length. High-density bone nut and saddle ensure optimal string vibration transfer and tuning stability. Precision 18:1 open-back tuners offer fine control for accurate pitch adjustments. Aesthetic details include a bold rope rosette, maple binding, and elegant inlaid diamond fretboard markers. The satin finish allows the wood to breathe, further enhancing the instrument's natural acoustic properties. This model is available with an optional Stagepro Element pickup, making it stage-ready for amplified performances. Each guitar comes protected in a durable hardshell flat top case, ensuring safe transport and storage.
