The Schaller M6 180 tuning machine delivers high-precision guitar tuning with a smooth 1:18 gear ratio and self-locking drive. Each component is CNC-machined to exacting tolerances and permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free performance.
Solid brass string posts are precisely fitted into the housing to ensure optimal tuning stability, wear resistance, and long-term durability. The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post reliably through the banjo bolt, eliminating tilt and removing mechanical pressure from both the post and rear mounting screw without requiring stepped headstock drilling.
Designed as a direct replacement for legacy closed tuning machines, the M6 180 installs smoothly on compatible electric and acoustic headstocks while offering refined operation and rock-solid pitch retention.
